We offer Alaska concealed carry classes, individual handgun training, active shooter response training, and unarmed defense training. Every course focuses on practical skills, legal knowledge, and real-world readiness.

All of our classes are personally led by our Chief Instructor, Dr. M. Hildon Guy, a United States Air Force veteran, NRA-certified handgun instructor and range safety officer, and a black belt martial arts instructor in Shotokan Karate, Shokenryu Karate, and Bojutsu.

Yes. Our concealed carry classes are approved by the State of Alaska and meet the requirements for obtaining an Alaska concealed carry permit.

Not at all. No prior firearms or martial arts experience is needed. Our classes are welcoming, judgment-free, and paced to build confidence gradually, and they're a great fit for women, beginners, seniors, and anyone who feels intimidated by firearms training. We explain everything clearly and patiently, and we meet you at your level.

We train primarily in Eagle River, Alaska, with select services also available in Idaho and Missouri. Depending on the course, sessions take place at indoor or outdoor ranges.

Our concealed carry classes cover Alaska's concealed carry laws, use-of-force considerations, and your legal responsibilities as a permit holder. We also provide personalized guidance to help you complete and submit your concealed carry permit application correctly.

Safety is our top priority. We teach safe firearm handling, proper storage, legal responsibilities, range safety protocols, and situational awareness, so you learn to act responsibly in real-world situations.

Our active shooter response training teaches early threat recognition, evacuation procedures, shelter-in-place tactics, use of cover and concealment, team response coordination, and post-incident survival skills to help you stay safer during a critical incident.

Yes. Our unarmed defense training covers basic self-defense moves, defensive striking, escape and evasion tactics, situational awareness, and de-escalation techniques drawn from multiple martial arts, no weapon required.

No prior experience is necessary. Classes are designed to be accessible for beginners and those with no previous firearms or martial arts background, with instruction paced to build confidence and skills gradually.

Our handgun instruction covers the fundamentals, grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and safe loading and unloading, along with structured drills and live-fire range practice to build accuracy and muscle memory. We emphasize realistic, practical scenarios and decision-making under stress rather than sport or competition shooting, so you're prepared for real self-defense situations.
